(1) A professional corporation may not render any professional service other than the professional service authorized by its articles of incorporation.(2) Subsection (1) does not prohibit a professional corporation from investing its funds in real estate, mortgages, securities, or any other type of investment or from owning real or personal property appropriate for carrying on its business.Laws, 1995, ch. 494, § 8, eff. 7/1/1995.
