Section 79-10-83 - Termination of professional activities

If a professional corporation ceases to render professional services, it must amend its articles of incorporation to delete references to rendering professional services and to conform its corporate name to the requirements of Section 79-4-4.01, Mississippi Code of 1972. After the amendment becomes effective, the corporation may continue in existence as a business corporation under the Mississippi Business Corporation Act and it is no longer subject to this chapter.Laws, 1995, ch. 494, § 23, eff. 7/1/1995.
