Section 79-29-924 - Authority to transact business

(1) A foreign professional limited liability company may not transact business in this state until it obtains a certificate of authority from the Secretary of State.(2) A foreign professional limited liability company may not obtain a certificate of authority unless: (a) Its name satisfies the requirements of Section 79-29-908;(b) It is formed for one or more of the purposes described in Section 79-29-904; and(c) All of its members would be qualified persons if the foreign professional limited liability company were a domestic professional limited liability company.
