Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, the Commissioner of Banking and Consumer Finance by rule may authorize a credit union doing business under this chapter to engage in any activity in which it could engage, exercise any power it could exercise, or make any loan or investment it could make, if it were operating as a federal credit union.Laws, 1987, ch. 381, § 6; reenacted, Laws, 1995, ch. 374, § 7; reenacted without change, Laws, 1997, ch. 368, § 7; reenacted without change, Laws, 2001, ch. 408, § 7, eff. 7/1/2001.
