(1) The application for a license to establish and maintain a Mississippi representative office shall be in writing under oath and shall be in such form and contain such information as the commissioner may require by regulation or order. The application shall be accompanied by a reasonable fee as the commissioner may establish by regulation.(2) Each application to establish and maintain a Mississippi representative office shall include an instrument irrevocably appointing the commissioner or his or her successors in office to be such foreign bank's agent, representative and attorney to receive service of any lawful judicial and administrative process in accordance with Section 81-25-101.Laws, 1996, ch. 441, § 34, eff. 5/1/1997.
