Section 83-5-81 - Suit for payment of expense if refused

If any company shall fail or refuse to pay all legal and reasonable expenses of examination upon the presentation of a bill therefor by the commissioner, then he shall at once institute proceedings against the said company or other insurer for recovery of the same, and for this purpose may attach any of the property of the said company to be found within the jurisdiction of the court before which such proceedings are heard.Codes, 1906, § 2656; Hemingway's 1917, § 5122; 1930, § 5202; 1942, § 5716.
