The commissioner may waive any license requirement for an applicant with a valid license from another state having license requirements substantially equivalent to those of this state, or an applicant with a certification from a person or entity approved by the commissioner that provides adjuster education and training and has met the standards as set forth by the commissioner regarding pre-licensing coursework and examination.
