Section 83-18-25 - Waiver of application requirements where administrator certified in another state

Upon request from an administrator, the commissioner may waive the application requirements of subsection (2) of Section 83-18-23 if the administrator has a valid certificate of authority as an administrator issued in a state which has standards for administrators that are at least as stringent as those contained in the model statute for third-party administrators of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.Laws, 1991, ch. 422, § 13, eff. 7/1/1991.
