Any order issued by the commissioner under this chapter may be appealed to the Chancery Court of the First Judicial District of Hinds County in the manner provided by law. Where the order of the commissioner results in an increase or decrease in rates, any insurer affected thereby with leave of court, pending final disposition of the proceedings in the court, may continue to charge rates which were obtained prior to such order of decrease, or may charge rates resulting from such order of increase on condition that the difference in the premiums be deposited in a special account by the insurer or paid to the holders of policies issued after the order of the commissioner, as the court may determine.Laws, 1987, ch. 422, § 17, eff. 1/1/1988.
