The association, pursuant to the provisions of this chapter and the plan of operation and with respect to essential property insurance on insurable property, shall have the power on behalf of its members:(a) To cause to be issued policies of insurance to applicants;(b) To assume reinsurance from its members;(c) To cede reinsurance to its members and to purchase reinsurance in behalf of its members.Laws, 1987, ch. 422, § 38, eff. 7/1/1987.
