Any deposits of a sponsor of a prepaid legal services plan deposited with the commissioner pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall be administered by the commissioner in accordance with the provisions of the Mississippi Code of 1972 as though deposited by a domestic casualty insurer authorized to transact insurance in this state or as deposited by a corporation authorized to transact business in this state pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 19, Title 83, Mississippi Code of 1972, as the case may be.Laws, 1983, ch. 474, § 21, eff. 7/1/1983.
