Section 83-9-21 - Judicial review

Any order or decision of the commissioner under Sections 83-9-1 through 83-9-21 shall be subject to review by appeal (writ of certiorari) to the circuit court at the instance of any party in interest. The filing of the appeal (petition for such writ) shall operate as a stay of any such order or decision until the court directs otherwise. The court may review all the facts and, in disposing of the issue before it, may modify, affirm, or reverse the order or decision of the commissioner in whole or in part.Codes, 1942, § 5687-10; Laws, 1956, ch. 330, § 10, eff. 7/1/1956.
