Section 83-9-112 - Penalty for issuers violating statutory provisions

In addition to any other applicable penalties for violations of the insurance code, the commissioner may require issuers violating any provision of Sections 83-9-101 through 83-9-115 or regulations promulgated pursuant to Sections 83-9-101 through 83-9-115 to cease marketing any Medicare supplement policy or certificate in this state which is related directly or indirectly to a violation or may require such issuer to take such actions as are necessary to comply with the provisions of Sections 83-9-101 through 83-9-115, or both.Laws, 1992, ch. 337 § 9, eff. 4/20/1992.
