The proceeds of all unassigned life insurance policies payable to the executor or administrator of the insured, upon the death of the insured, shall, whether exempt or not, be paid by such insurance company, to the executor or administrator of such insured deceased, and the receipt of such executor or administrator shall constitute a full and complete acquittance to such insurance company as against the claims of any and all persons claiming any rights under such policy of insurance.Codes, 1930, § 1758; 1942, § 310; Laws, 1922, ch. 186.
