A 'bucket shop' is hereby defined to be and mean any place of business wherein are made contracts of the sort or character denounced by Section 87-1-19, and the maintenance or operation of a bucket shop at any point in this state is hereby prohibited.Codes, 1930, § 1831; 1942, § 29; Laws, 1928, ch. 304.
