Any person, whether as agent or owner, who shall rent or lease any office or place of business to any person, association of persons or corporation, to be used in, or for the purpose of negotiating or effectuating the class of contracts prohibited by this chapter, knowing such person, association of persons or corporation to be engaged in such business, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction shall be punished as provided by law.Codes, Hemingway's 1917, § 1923; 1930, § 1836; 1942, § 34; Laws, 1908, ch. 118.
