Section 89-7-11 - Rent assets in hands of personal representative

If a person lease his land and die, the rent to accrue for the land during the year of his death shall be payable to the personal representative of the decedent, who shall have the same remedy therefor as the decedent would have had if he had lived.Codes, 1880, § 1327; 1892, § 2542; 1906, § 2880; Hemingway's 1917, § 2378; 1930, § 2180; 1942, § 902.
