Section 89-8-31 - Residential evictions; authorized in certain circumstances

A landlord may commence proceedings to evict a tenant:(a) For breach of the rental agreement or for violation of this chapter pursuant to Section 89-8-13; or(b) For failing to vacate after the expiration of the rental agreement pursuant to Sections 89-8-17 and 89-8-19.Added by Laws, 2022, ch. 501, SB 2461,§ 1, eff. 4/21/2022.
