Section 9-5-58 - Twentieth district; number and election of chancellors

There shall be three (3) chancellors for the Twentieth Chancery Court District. For purposes of appointment and election the three (3) chancellorships shall be separate and distinct and denominated for purposes of appointment and election only as 'Place One,' 'Place Two' and 'Place Three.'Laws, 1994, ch. 564, § 36, eff. 9/6/1994 (the date the United States Attorney General interposed no objection to the addition of this section).Amended by Laws, 2015, ch. 476, HB 703, 30, eff. 4/22/2015.
