Section 91-7-289 - Hearing for derelict fiduciary

If on the return day it shall appear that the citation has been served in this state, or publication made in the manner required by Section 91-7-287, the court or chancellor may proceed to hear the matter, and may remove or punish such fiduciary, either or both, or make such other order therein as may seem just and proper; or the court or chancellor may continue the matter for further hearing and final determination to such time and place as may be designated in the order of continuance.Codes, 1942, § 637; Laws, 1936, ch. 239.
