Section 97-17-84 - Penalty for removal of "sea oats" or "uniola paniculata" from shores

Any person who removes a plant commonly known as 'sea oats' or 'uniola paniculata' from the shores of this state shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction, be fined not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00).Laws, 1989, ch. 453, § 1, eff. 7/1/1989.
