Section 97-19-29 - Credit cards; penalty for violation of Sections 97-19-5 through 97-19-29

Except as otherwise provided in Section 97-19-21, any person who violates any of the provisions of Sections 97-19-5 through 97-19-29 or commits any of the offenses described therein shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be subject to a fine not to exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), or to imprisonment for a term not to exceed one (1) year, or both.Codes, 1942, § 2148.7-12; Laws, 1968, ch. 345, § 12; Laws, 1992, ch. 384, § 2, eff. 7/1/1992.
