If any newsdealer or other person shall, directly or indirectly, sell or offer for sale any newspaper or other publication containing a lottery advertisement, he shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) or imprisoned not less than ten (10) days, or both.This section shall not apply to the operation of any game or lottery authorized by Chapter 115, Title 27.Codes, 1892, § 1204; 1906, § 1282; Hemingway's 1917, § 1014; 1930, § 1043; 1942, § 2275.Amended by Laws, 2018EX1, ch. 2, SB 2001,§ 61, eff. 9/1/2018.
