(1) A person commits the crime of bribing a judge if he intentionally or knowingly offers, confers or agrees to confer any benefit upon a judge with the intent that the judge's decision, vote, recommendation or other exercise of official discretion in a judicial or administrative proceeding will thereby be influenced.(2) Bribing a judge is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not less than five (5) years nor more than twenty (20) years and by a fine three (3) times the amount of the bribe but in no case less than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00).
