Section 99-1-11 - Costs of search warrant and certain criminal prosecutions

The person who procures a search warrant, or who charges another with any crime or misdemeanor against his person or property before any court, without reasonable cause, may be required by the court to pay the costs incurred; and judgment may be entered and execution issued therefor.Codes, 1880, § 3119; 1892, § 888; 1906, § 965; Hemingway's 1917, § 674; 1930, § 681; 1942, § 1592.
