Section 99-23-23 - What constitutes breach of bond; proof

Any offense committed on the person or property of another toward whom the party may have been bound to keep the peace, shall constitute a breach of such bond, which breach may be shown by the record of the conviction of the party of the offense, or by proof of the commission of the offense where conviction has not been had, on proceeding by scire facias, as above provided.Codes, 1880, § 3134; 1892, § 1486; 1906, § 1558; Hemingway's 1917, § 1320; 1930, § 1346; 1942, § 2593.
