Section 99-9-13 - Issuance of subpoena for witness to give deposition for use in another state

Any commissioner or other person appointed, or to whom a commission may be directed, by any court without the limits of this state, to take the deposition of any witness residing or being in this state, shall have power to issue subpoenas for the witness to be examined, returnable at such time and place as the commissioner or other person may appoint.Codes, 1857, ch. 61, art. 195; 1871, § 763; 1880, § 1587; 1892, § 3451; 1906, § 3950; Hemingway's 1917, § 2957; 1930, § 3003; 1942, § 1885.
