Title III LEGISLATIVE BRANCH Chapter 23 Effective - 28 Aug 2010 23.156. Oath required, oversight division employees — violation, penalty. — 1. Every employee of the oversight division of the joint committee on legislative research shall, before entering upon his or her duties, take and file in the offices of the secretary of the senate and the chief clerk of the house of representatives an oath: (1) To support the constitution of the state, to faithfully demean himself or herself in office; (2) To not disclose to any unauthorized person any information furnished by any state department, state agency, political subdivision, or instrumentality of the state; and (3) To not accept as presents or emoluments any pay, directly or indirectly, for the discharge of any act in the line of his or her duty other than the remuneration fixed and accorded to the employee by law. 2.
