Title IV EXECUTIVE BRANCH Chapter 34 Effective - 28 Aug 2010 34.048. General Services Administration vendors, purchase of supplies authorized. — In any contract for purchasing supplies as defined in section 34.010 not exceeding the threshold for competitive bids set forth under section 34.040, the office of administration shall not prevent any department, office, board, commission, bureau, institution, political subdivision, or any other agency of the state from purchasing supplies from an authorized General Services Administration vendor including 'GSA Advantage', 'GSA e-Buy', or successor sources. -------- (L. 2010 H.B. 1868 § 1 merged with S.B. 844) (2012) This section and section 37.900 relating to procurement severed from the remainder of Senate Bill 844 and remain valid.
