Title IX SUFFRAGE AND ELECTIONS Chapter 115 • Effective - 28 Aug 2013 115.455. Procedure for counting votes on questions. — Election judges shall count votes on each question in the following manner: (1) If a distinguishing mark appears immediately beside or below the 'YES', the question shall be counted as voted for. If a distinguishing mark appears immediately beside or below the 'NO', the question shall be counted as voted against; (2) If a distinguishing mark appears immediately beside or below the 'YES' and immediately beside or below the 'NO', the question shall neither be counted as voted for nor as voted against. ­­-------- (L. 1977 H.B. 101 § 12.020, A.L. 2013 S.B. 99)
