Title IX SUFFRAGE AND ELECTIONS Chapter 116 • Effective - 28 Aug 1997 116.240. Certification to election authorities of notice to be published — contents. — Not later than the tenth Tuesday prior to an election at which a statewide ballot measure is to be voted on, the secretary of state shall send each election authority a certified copy of the legal notice to be published.
