Title VI COUNTY, TOWNSHIP AND POLITICAL SUBDIVISION GOVERNMENT Chapter 53 • Effective - 28 Aug 2005 53.260. Expenses to be paid by state. — Subject to appropriation, expenses incurred by the assessor or assessor-elect in attending courses of study and additional courses referred to in sections 53.250 to 53.265* shall be paid by the state. Fees for registration, books and materials may be directly billed to the state as provided by the commissioner of administration.
