Title VI COUNTY, TOWNSHIP AND POLITICAL SUBDIVISION GOVERNMENT Chapter 56 • Effective - 28 Aug 1981 56.770. Office of prosecution services not to usurp powers and duties of other officials. — Anything in sections 56.750 to 56.775 to the contrary notwithstanding, the Missouri office of prosecution services may not exercise any power, supervisory or otherwise, undertake any duty or perform any function presently or hereafter assigned by law to the governor of this state, the attorney general, the chief justice of the supreme court, the Missouri general assembly, or any prosecuting attorney, circuit attorney, or county counselor in this state. ­­-------- (L. 1981 S.B. 32 § 5)
