Title VI COUNTY, TOWNSHIP AND POLITICAL SUBDIVISION GOVERNMENT Chapter 59 Effective - 01 Sep 2003, see footnote 59.321. One dollar filing fee required, used for county employees' retirement system or general revenue account. — In addition to any other fee, the recorder of deeds in all counties and any city not within a county shall collect one dollar on all documents or instruments that are recorded. The recorder of deeds in all counties, except in counties with a charter form of government and any city not within a county, shall forward the fee to the county employees' retirement system pursuant to section 50.1190, provided, however, that the recorder of deeds in any county with a charter form of government and any city not within a county whose employees are not members of the county employees' retirement system shall deposit the fee to the general revenue of that county or city not within a county.
