Title VI COUNTY, TOWNSHIP AND POLITICAL SUBDIVISION GOVERNMENT Chapter 67 • Effective - 02 Jul 2001, see footnote 67.1882. Contracting, borrowing and agreement authority of the district. — 1. A district may contract and incur obligations appropriate to accomplish its purposes. 2. A district may enter into any lease or lease-purchase agreement for or with respect to any real or personal property necessary or convenient for its purposes. 3. A district may borrow money for its purposes at such rates of interest as the district may determine. 4.
