Director of revenue to be responsible for administration and operation of the tax. — On or after the effective date of any tax imposed throughout a county pursuant to the provisions of sections 67.571 to 67.577, the director of revenue shall be responsible for the administration, collection, enforcement, and operation of the tax, and all provisions of sections 32.085 and 32.087 shall apply to the tax so imposed, the provisions of sections 67.671 to 67.685 to the contrary notwithstanding.
