Title VII CITIES, TOWNS AND VILLAGES Chapter 82 Effective - 28 Aug 2002 82.293. No surcharge or fee to compensate school districts without statutory authority (Lee's Summit)—severability clause. — 1. Absent explicit statutory authority, no constitutional charter city with more than seventy thousand five hundred but less than seventy-one thousand inhabitants located at least in part within a county of the first classification with more than eighty-two thousand but less than eighty-two thousand one hundred inhabitants shall enact any ordinance, regulation, or resolution that would impose a surcharge or other fee to compensate any political subdivision organized pursuant to chapter 162. 2.
