List of licenses to be maintained. — It shall be the duty of the license collector to keep a complete list of all persons, firms, associations and corporations who are required by law, or ordinance, to obtain a license, or pay a license tax, and collect all information which may be necessary for the proper assessing, levying and issuing of licenses and license taxes.
