Title VII CITIES, TOWNS AND VILLAGES Chapter 87 • Effective - 28 Aug 1939 87.470. Funeral expenses. — Whenever an active or retired fireman shall die, as aforesaid, the board of trustees may appropriate a sum not exceeding two hundred dollars for funeral expenses, to be paid out of the pension fund and may expend a sum not exceeding fifty dollars, to be drawn from the pension fund, for the expenses of the attendance of the firemen at said funeral. ­­-------- (RSMo 1939 § 9542) Prior revisions: 1929 § 8977; 1919 § 9078; 1909 § 9903
