Title VII CITIES, TOWNS AND VILLAGES Chapter 91 • Effective - 28 Aug 1939 91.800. May assess benefits and damages, and collect and pay therefor. — All such cities are hereby authorized and empowered to acquire such rapid transit improvement, in whole or in part, by condemnation, and shall have the power to assess benefits and damages, and collect and pay therefor, in the manner that such cities may now or hereafter be authorized to acquire real estate or other property, or rights of interest therein, for public purposes. ­­-------- (RSMo 1939 § 7776) Prior revision: 1929 § 7636
