City authorized to contract with insurers — rules and regulations authorized (St. Louis City). — Any ordinance adopted hereunder may empower the city to contract for the purposes of sections 95.545 to 95.555 with insurance companies authorized to do business in this state and may authorize an officer or board of the city to adopt rules and regulations with respect to all matters pertaining to coverage and claims under any insurance program hereunder which are not inconsistent with any provision of sections 95.545 to 95.555. -------- (L. 1971 H.B. 441 § 6)
