Warrant to represent sum withheld. — Any sum withheld by the commissioner of administration or the disbursing officer of a county or municipal corporation, as the case may be, under authorization for purchase of such United States series 'E' savings bonds shall be represented by a warrant drawn by the commissioner of administration, or disbursing officer of a county or municipal corporation, as the case may be, to the official or employee, and endorsed by the commissioner of administration or his authorized agent, or the disbursing officer of the county or municipal corporation, as the case may be, and as provided in such authorization. -------- (L. 1943 p. 332 § 5, A. 1949 H.B. 2046)
