Record of land sold kept by collector. — A record shall be kept by the county collector in his office containing a brief description of the lands by him conveyed on sales for taxes, the name of the person charged therewith, the date of the sale, the name of the purchaser, the amount for which it sold, the name of the grantee in the deed, and the date of its execution. -------- (RSMo 1939 § 11154)
