Title XI EDUCATION AND LIBRARIES Chapter 178 • Effective - 28 Aug 1963 178.610. Duties of state board of education. — The state board of education shall: (1) Cooperate with the federal board for vocational education in the administration of the provisions of the act, approved June 2, 1920, and amendments thereto; (2) Prescribe and provide the courses of vocational training that are necessary for the vocational rehabilitation of persons disabled in industry or otherwise; (3) Provide for the supervision of the training and appoint the assistants necessary to administer the act, and fix their compensation; (4) Direct the disbursement and administer the use of all funds provided by the federal government and allotted for the vocational rehabilitation of such persons. ­­-------- (L. 1963 p. 200 § 13-61) (Source: RSMo 1959 § 162.300)
