Cystic fibrosis, duties of department. — The department shall: (1) Assist in the development and expansion of programs for the care and treatment of persons suffering from cystic fibrosis; (2) Extend financial assistance to persons suffering from cystic fibrosis in obtaining treatment of the disease; (3) Institute and carry on educational programs among physicians, hospitals, public health departments, and the public concerning cystic fibrosis, including dissemination of information and the conducting of educational programs concerning the methods of care and treatment of persons suffering from the condition. -------- (L. 1985 H.B. 612)
