Title XII PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELFARE Chapter 191 • Effective - 28 Aug 1992 191.800. Definitions. — As used in sections 191.800 to 191.815, the following terms mean: (1) 'Hunger', the lack of sufficient nutritious food to maintain health or morale or to achieve optimal human potential; (2) 'Outreach', a public education activity the purpose of which is to inform: (a) Hungry people about available food programs and how to gain access to them; (b) The general public about the nature and extent of hunger problems in the state and specific communities and the programs which address them. ­­-------- (L. 1992 S.B. 449 § 1)
