Title XII PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELFARE Chapter 194 • Effective - 28 Aug 2008 194.280. Falsification of documents, penalty. — Any person that in order to obtain a financial gain knowingly falsifies, forges, conceals, defaces, or obliterates a document of gift, an amendment or revocation of a document of gift, or a refusal commits a felony and upon pleading or being found guilty is subject to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand dollars or imprisonment not exceeding seven years, or both. ­­-------- (L. 1969 S.B. 43 § 8, A.L. 2008 S.B. 1139)
