Title XII PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELFARE Chapter 209 • Effective - 28 Aug 2002 209.326. Temporary license issued to persons licensed in other states, procedure, fee limitation. — Any person who holds a valid unrevoked and unexpired license or certification as an interpreter issued by a state or organization other than this state and recognized by the committee and concurrently by the Missouri commission for the deaf and hard of hearing and, provided for by rule, may be granted a temporary license by the committee to practice interpreting in this state. The application for a temporary license must be accompanied by the appropriate fee as established by the committee and that fee is nonrefundable. If issued, the temporary license is valid for ninety days. A temporary license may not be issued to the same individual more than once per year. The committee may not issue more than one temporary license to an individual who has established residency in this state during the individual's residency. -------- (L. 1994 S.B. 568 § 12, A.L. 2002 H.B. 1783)
