Title XII PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELFARE Chapter 214 • Effective - 28 Aug 2010 214.300. Nonendowed cemetery may qualify as endowed, when — minimum care and maintenance fund to be established. — Any cemetery operator may, after October 13, 1961, qualify to operate a cemetery which has been operated as a nonendowed cemetery for a minimum of two years, as an endowed care cemetery by: (1) So electing in compliance with section 214.280; (2) Establishing an endowed care trust fund in cash of one thousand dollars for each acre in said cemetery with a minimum of five thousand dollars and a maximum of twenty-five thousand dollars; (3) Filing the report required by section 214.340. ­­-------- (L. 1961 p. 538 § 12, A.L. 1994 S.B. 496, A.L. 2010 H.B. 1692, et al. merged with H.B. 2226, et al. merged with S.B. 754)
