Title XIII CORRECTIONAL AND PENAL INSTITUTIONS Chapter 217 • Effective - 28 Aug 1995 217.833. Percent of offender's assets that may be used for reimbursement — limitation. — 1. Not more than ninety percent of the value of the assets of the offender may be used for purposes of securing costs and reimbursement pursuant to the provisions of sections 217.825 to 217.841. 2. The amount of reimbursement sought from an offender shall not be in excess of the per capita cost for care for maintaining offenders in the state correctional center in which the offender is housed for the period or periods such offender is an offender in a state correctional center. -------- (L. 1988 H.B. 1340 & 1348 § 5 subsecs. 3, 4, A.L. 1995 H.B. 424)
